Some of the biggest motion pictures of that time have been made in Latvia as well as a number of western co-productions.

Over the years we have had experience working with both local and international film crews constantly improving our levels of creativity, innovation and professionalism.

Keeping up with the western standards and working practices has never been as essential as these days.

All our crews are available at highly competitive rates based on 13 hour working day including travel and lunch time. The local custom is that there is no extra charge for weekends, public holidays and night shoots.

The overtime rates are minimal compared to those elsewhere in Europe and non-applicable for certain grades.

The experience suggests that for most advertising shoots companies tend to bring their heads of departments with them which normally works quite well for both sides.

All types of film stock are available in Latvia. You might need to pre-order in case of extra large quantities or very specific stock requirements.

There is no Kodak approved lab in Latvia at the moment.
We do all our transfers in Helsinki or Prague. It usually takes from 12 up to 18 hours for the rushes to come back.

With the rising volume of business we believe that some of the leading western film stock processing companies will soon show their interest in opening a Kodak approved lab in Riga.
